Itinerary:
Day 1 - February 17, 2025 Trans-Atlantic Flight
Depart from North America to Tel Aviv, Israel. Meals will be served in flight.
Day 2 - Arrival in Tel Aviv/Netanya
You will arrive at Ben Gurion International Airport in Tel Aviv. Time permitting, we'll see some sites, such as Jaffa. Dinner and overnight stay in Herzliya.
Day 3 - Head North and to the Galilee
After a great Israeli breakfast, we’ll continue to maritime Caesarea and to Mount Carmel (1 Kings 18) to hear about the Prophet Elijah. At noon, enjoy a typical Israeli lunch such as Falafel. Your next stop is Megiddo, Biblical Armageddon (1 Kings 9:15, Rev. 6:16). From there onto Nazareth. Then dinner and accommodation at the Sea of Galilee.
Day 4 - A Day in Galilee
Visit the Magdala Synagogue, Capernaum, Tabgha, and the Mount of Beatitudes. Time permitting, we will see Bethsaida.
Day 5 - Galilee
Day will be spent in the Galilean city of Tiberias.
Day 6 - Beit She'an and the Dead Sea
Departing the Galilee to visit Beit Shean, Ein Harod, Jericho, and the Jordan River with an opportunity to be baptized. Then via Jordan Valley to the Dead Sea.
Day 7 - Masada/En Gedi and Qumran
In the morning, climb by cable car to visit Masada (Herod's fortress and the last point of Jewish resistance against the Romans). Hike up Ein Gedi (David’s hideout from Saul). Visit Qumran - home of the Dead Sea Scrolls. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem.
Day 8 - Jerusalem
We ascend to the City of Gold - Jerusalem, where we will visit the Israel Museum, Yad Vashem, the valley of Elah, and the stream where David chose his stones to fight against Goliath. Spending the remaining nights in Jerusalem.
Day 9 & 10 - Jerusalem
Mt. of Oliver, Palm Sunday Path to Garden of Gethsemane, Upper room, Caiaphas's House, Church of Peter in Gallicantu, End the day at Golgotha.
Visit Mt. Moriah - Temple Moria, the Pools of Bethesda, the City of David, the Western Wall Tunnel, and Bethlehem. Visit the friends of Zion Museum, and the Garden Tomb. Enjoy a free afternoon shopping or relaxing in Jerusalem. Dinner and a late check out until departure time. Transfer to the airport in Tel Aviv for your late night flight back home.
Day 11 - February 27, 2025
Return Flight to North America with many great memories.

Flight Arrangements:
Our travel desk can take care of all your flight arrangements.
We anticipate that your overseas flight from New York, JFK Airport Tel Aviv will cost approximately $1,350.00. Flights booked closer to the tour will be more expensive.
Our Agent will coordinate your flight schedule with the group Israel Airport Transfer and offer you direct flights into Israel from JFK International and connections within the US.
You may self-book your flights, (a necessary option if you want to use travel points or mileage on an airline), but you will need to provide your own airport transfers.
Airfare Payment:
Upon booking your airline ticket, please provide a valid Credit Card to the agent.
Be sure to have your valid passport information available, or a passport application in process.

Airport Transfer:
Group Transfer - In Israel is provided for this tour, provided you use our ticketing agent and travel on the selected flights from JFK.
Private Transfer - Self-booked air travel requires private transfers. Plan to take a taxi and self-pay for your private transfer to your hotel and back.
Please send us your flight details at least six weeks prior to the tour departure date, so that we may prepare your transfer.
Deposits and Payments: A deposit of $500 is required from each traveler, along with their reservation form, to guarantee the booking as soon as possible. The remaining balance is due in 2 payments. Airfare payment and final payment.

2. Final Payment is due 4 months from the Travel Date.
A supplement for single occupancy must be paid in full with the final payment.

Failure to pay the amounts due by the above deadlines is grounds for cancellation of your reservation.
Cancellation fees will apply if your reservation is canceled due to late or insufficient payments.
Cancellation Requests: All cancellation requests must be made in writing by email to tours@aliyahfoundation.org or in writing, mailed to: Aliyah Tours, P.O. Box 74111, Richmond VA 23236).
Cancellation Fees:
$500 Deposit is non-refundable.
Up to 4 months prior to departure date, the cancellation fee is the initial deposit plus 50% of other amounts paid.
Up to 6 weeks prior to departure date, the cancellation fee is the initial deposit plus 75% of other amounts paid.
Within 6 weeks prior to departure date, the cancellation fee is 100% of all amounts paid.
If the tour is canceled due to circumstances beyond the control of Aliyah Tours or our agents (including without limitation: acts of nature, terrorist activities, insurrection, flood, tempest, forceful wind, fire or accident, war or threat of war declared or undeclared, sabotage, civil disturbance, labor strikes, requisition, sickness, quarantine, government intervention, weather conditions, and unforeseen circumstances), then the full tour price will be refunded less the initial deposit of $500. Additionally, if a tour is canceled, an alternative date may be offered. Aliyah may take up to 12 weeks from the date of an official tour cancellation to refund any tour payments as described in the above cancellation policy. Bank fees assigned by the credit card processing platform are not refundable. The guest agrees not to file a fraud claim with their credit card company if Aliyah abides by the cancellation policy noted in these terms and conditions. The guest agrees to contact Aliyah representative before initiating a billing dispute with any outside agency.
Land – All packages, including overnight hotel stays, are quoted based upon double occupancy; sharing a twin or double room with private facilities. Aliyah Tours does not arrange sharing for individual travelers. Single rooms are available at additional cost. Aliyah Tours reserves the right to substitute hotels, based upon availability, when necessary. Sightseeing and entrance fees are included as per itinerary. Individual passengers, and passengers arriving independently from a scheduled group, are responsible for their own transfers.
Flight Arrangements – Our travel desk can take care of all your flight requirements. However, if you choose to book your own flight, the cost of your trip would be $3,214.00 per person. You must submit your confirmed flight information to Aliyah Tours before August 25, 2024, which is six weeks before the tour.
Exclusions - Flights are booked separately and in addition to the tour price of $3,214.00. Other exclusions include airport taxis (required for private transfers outside of group transfer times), private optional tours, charges for passports, excess baggage charges, travel insurance, telephone and cable charges, laundry, meals not specified in the itinerary, liquor, items of a personal nature, and any items not specifically listed as included.
Passports/Visa - You will be required to provide Aliyah Tours with a copy of your passport before August 25, 2024, which is 6 weeks before the tour. It can take as long as 12 weeks to process a passport application in the USA. Please expedite passport applications submitted after June 2, 2024. Also note: The State of Israel requires that your passport have an expiration date valid for at least 6 months after your date of departure from Israel. There is no visa requirement for citizens of the United States traveling to Israel. Other nationals should contact their consulate for visa information. For other destinations, please contact Aliyah Tours. Aliyah Tours does NOT process visa applications. No inoculations are currently required for travel to Israel. Please contact public health authorities for further information or other destinations.
Baggage
Suitcases: 1 per person, not to exceed 50 lbs. for 1 bag. Each can measure up to 62 linear inches (length + height + width). Carry On Luggage: 1 per person, not to exceed 11 lbs. Each can measure up to 45 linear inches (length + height + width). Since all airline requirements differ slightly, please check the airline website for their specific luggage size and weight.
Deviations
Any change in the basic program will result in the charge of $150 per change per person plus any additional charges that may apply for revised air or land arrangements.
Unexpected Airline Challenges
Airlines can and will make unexpected changes to travel itineraries due to weather, mechanical problems and staffing issues. Should your flight be delayed or canceled, it is up to the passenger to work directly with the airline to rebook flights to the intended destination. Aliyah Tours is not responsible for airline changes that cause delays, cancellations, late arrivals, baggage loss, and associated expenses. Group transfers are limited to the original arrival time and will not be available for rescheduled flights. (Air travel ticketing agents affiliated with Aliyah Tours are not responsible for rebooking your canceled or delayed flights.) Travel insurance is highly recommended to address all these challenges and the associated expenses for the traveler.
Health and Mobility Challenges
Tours in Israel include areas that have uneven footing, few handrails, rocky pathways, and some steep climbs. The streets and sites we visit are not wheelchair and walker-friendly. Most of our tours include 3-5 miles of walking per day. Guests with mobility challenges or other health issues should make private arrangements to travel with a caregiver who can stay with them if they need to opt out of a tour stop. Guests cannot be left alone or on the bus should they choose to opt-out. If you have health challenges, please consult an Aliyah Tours representative before you put down a deposit on a tour.
Aliyah Tours (Aliyah), and/or its agents and their representatives abroad, The Final Hour Podcast and, their agents or representatives abroad, and/or its employees act only as agents for the tour participants in making arrangements for hotels, transportation, touring, restaurants, or any other services in connection with the itinerary. However, they do not assume any liability whatsoever for any injury, damage, loss, accident, delay, or irregularity to person or property because of any act or default of any hotel, carrier, restaurant, company, or person rendering any of the services included in the tours. The tickets, coupons, tariffs, rules, or contracts currently in use by any carrier, hotel, restaurant, or other contractor rendering services shall constitute the sole contract between such contractor and the tour participants. If between planning time and the actual tour operation, circumstances beyond control require changes, All parties mentioned in this disclaimer, their agents or representatives abroad and/or its employees, reserve the right to vary itineraries and substitute components of tour programs. In the event it becomes necessary or advisable for any reason whatsoever to alter the arrangements of the itinerary, such alterations may be made without penalty to the Aliyah Tours operators. The right is reserved to accept or refuse any person as a member of the tour.
Travel Insurance is HIGHLY recommended for international travel to protect your tour investment. Travel insurance also protects you from costly losses due to emergency medical care, evacuation, trip interruption, and baggage loss. For the best coverage options, including "cancel for any reason" coverage, purchase your travel insurance within two weeks of booking your tour. There will be no exceptions to the strict cancellation policy.
Tourists from many countries (USA, Canada and others) will NOT need a Tourist Visa to enter Israel. However, there are Tourists from some countries who will need to obtain a Tourist Visa before travelling to Israel.
